On behalf of the Virginia Police K-9 Association, we would like to thank the family of Sheriff Dennis S. Proffitt and the many donors for their contributions in his memory. These funds are a foothold to our organization's ability to provide for the retired police dogs of Virginia. Sheriff Proffitt's great work will continue on through us, and we sincerely appreciate each and every one of you for supporting our efforts.
